Not two surgeries but one...

Paxton won't have his "special toes" corrected this summer because of the risks of anesthesia due to his age.  (He has ligament contractures on his 3rd toe bilaterally.) Something to look forward to next year :0

Josh did have his knee surgery this past Monday though.  Here's a picture of him in pre-op:

He was really nervous!  Good news though - they hopefully found the source of his pain.  The doctor removed this fatty tissue on the left side and repaired a ligament tear.

He's dealing with all of his restrictions pretty well.  No driving and limited walking.  Follow up is Tuesday and we hope that he'll be released to normal activity then.

State Championship

Just a quick note that Tristan's team is still pursuing Colorado's State Championship in soccer.  They are playing their quarterfinal game this Sunday at 10:45 a.m.  It's going to be a tough game and he's super nervous!  If you think of it, send him a quick prayer to play well, have fun, and relax!

Track

Besides the hurdles, Tristan runs the 200m, 400m, 200m relay, and the 400m relay.  Here's a video of him winning his 200 heat.  I forgot to say that he was second in the hurdles!  He has a big meet Monday against 6 different schools!
