Tristan and I were having a pretty heated argument this morning on the way out of the house. It was in regards to what kind of outerwear to put on. He didn't like the jacket that I had out for him and wanted to wear a sweatshirt. I experienced something that had never happened to me before:
I almost flipped him the bird.
Seriously, what kind of mother thinks like that? I had to really restrain myself. Wow. Five days with Dad gone and I'm losing it.

LOL, Shea! I believe it! I don't want to be a downer, but that probably wont be the first time!!! When does Josh get home? Good luck through the weekend! :)
Actually.. i would say completely normal. and hilarious! ha ha.
get this, i went to the post office today to stand in line for 15 min to mail a package. the kids are a nightmare there on a pretty normal basis (like running out the door, not listening, throwing boxes, etc.) so i usually mastered the art of bringing a stroller for ani to sit in while caeli and i wait.. well, today.. we were in a hurry before it closed so i ditched the stroller this time around. ani ran off and would not listen and stay with me so i told her (quietly) that i would spank her if she did not stay with me. a couple in front of me made a comment "what happened to listen to what i say and not what you feel." first of all i was a bit embarressed and then just pissed and the first thought that came to mind was "Do you even have kids? Do you know what these heathens do?" ha ha. But I held it in and the kids did well after that so they were rewarded with candy. WHAT NERVE OF PEOPLE! Ugghhhh!
Love you! Hang in there this weekend! You can always call me.. xoxo
Thanks girls! Seven more days and counting!
I admit I lose my cool with Alyssa and her attitude and have said things that I didn't mean. I always apologize to her when that happens though. Kids push buttons all the time and I know we did it with our parents too. Being able to control your temper and control your kids at the same time is not an easy task.
