Ike is scary looking! We are thinking of everyone in Texas! I'm sure our tv will be on CNN tonight and tomorrow trying to stay up to date on it all.
Shell - I'm glad you got your deposit back for the weekend in Galveston but I'm sorry everything got cancelled. Hope it doesn't get too bad for you guys in Austin.
Everyone in Tyler - looks like it might go that way and I'm not sure what that necessarily means. A bad thunderstorm and some flooding? You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for your thoughts Shea. We are watching the whole thing tonight and tomorrow also. We are also watching a lot of LIVE WEBCAMS from Galveston via the Internet. Jon is worried about Houston as his entire family is there. Wish they would have come here. I will touch base with you tomorrow. Love you!
I woke up this morning to a little rain and a lot of wind. Me and Preston flipped over the trampoline last night and put the wheel barrel on top of the sand box. The trampoline has never flipped before but could in bad winds so we went ahead and did it. The sandbox lid flys off all the time. I've been wondering about Matt and Jessica?
MATT & JESSIE RODE THE STORM OUT. THEY MADE IT ALTHOUGH I THINK IT WAS PRETTY SCARY. NO MAJOR DAMAGE TO THEIR NEW HOUSE JUST TOOK OUT TREES AROUND THE POOL AND PART OF THE FENCE. MATT IS BACK AT WORK AND THEY HAVE ELECTRICITY. STILL DON'T KNOW ABOUT OUR HOUSE. THEY ARE NOT LETTING ANYONE DOWN TOWARD THE WATER. OUR NEIGHBORS ARE NOT HOME EITHER BUT THEY SWEAR WE DID NOT GET FLOODED. MAYBE DAMAGE FROM THE WIND AND TREES. WON'T KNOW TILL MATT CAN GET THERE OR THEY LET US GO IN. I'LL KEEP YA'LL POSTED ON WHETHER WE HAVE A HOUSE OR NOT.
