Didn't think I had a post for today until...

I was reading the paper this morning and saw this picture from the bball game we went to last night. Look in between the players and you'll see me, Josh with his hand under his chin, Tristan is standing up behind me and then little Aidan is in the bottom right corner mimicking his dad.

We've never gone to a high school game before but were invited by a friend because it was supposed to be a good one. That it was and we got our picture in the paper, ha!!!

You're driving to work

and you see two men on those little folding lawn chairs with huge metal fans on their backs hanging from a parachute!

I couldn't believe it and had to pull over on the side of the road to try and get a decent picture for you guys because I knew it sounded crazy!

It's distant but you'll see the one in the middle above the trees and the other on the right side. That's the hospital that I work at in the background.

Choir

Aidan is so funny! He's decided to join the school choir which is a 4 month commitment and so unlike him! I asked him after the 1st day how it went and he said good. I asked who all is doing it in which he said everyone. After a little more probing he is 1 of 4 boys who is there along with all of the girls!

I think someone is doing this just to be close to a girl!

Globetrotters!

We went to the Harlem Globetrotters a while back and I'm just getting around to posting the pictures and video that I took. It was a lot of fun! If anyone watched The Amazing Race this past season, they had a pair of Globetrotters racing named Flight Time and Big Easy. We were fans and were ecstatic that they were part of the Colorado show also!

We were finally able to schedule in the 3 hours to go and see this movie. Let's just say I'm not sorry I sat there for so long!

What a beautiful movie! Great message and we saw it in 3D which made the graphics even better.

The boys had heard from friends that the first hour was boring but they loved every minute of it. See it if you can!

15 year anniversary

This picture really doesn't do the ring justice;

I can't seem to take one that does. Not sure if it's my chunky hands or the big fat nails, ha!

Josh took me for a ride and all he would tell me is that he had a surprise for me. I had an idea of what it might be though. My thoughts were a new puppy or a new ring. We went to the mall and did look at the dogs but then he directed me to a jewelry store. He tells me to pick out a new ring!

(We've come a long way from our first wedding set that was bought on layaway as teenagers.)

Futsal Tournament

Tristan was selected to play in a Futsal tournament Saturday in Denver. (Futsal is basically indoor soccer with a weighted ball.) This video is so much fun, not just because he scores a goal but because of the celebration with his teammates! It's the championship game also.

They took 1st place!!! Extremely long day but well worth it!

We had a ton of fun with our family in Texas! My mom had cookies ready for decorating:

Tristan had a blast with this outlasting everyone at the table! He kept creating new ideas with the frosting and even requested to do it again the next day.
