Hurdles anyone?

We must have decided that competitive soccer just isn't enough for us since we've now added Track onto our schedule.  Tristan made the 7th grade track team and won a position in 4 different events (that's the most you can have).  Here's a quick video of his first ever try at hurdles!

I'm super proud of him.  Three days a week he has his two hour track practice before his two hour soccer practice.  It's been a lot of work but he's having a ball.  The weekly track meets are fun but no one told me how long they are!  3-4 hours on a weeknight, let's just say this: not too much gets done around the house those nights.

Tristan's 1st job!

Tristan took the class to be an entry level referee! He worked his first ever game this past weekend and although he was super nervous he did a fantastic job!

A big part of the job is education about the game on top of controlling it. Tristan's great with kids so he had no problem with that.
It's not a bad gig either, $12 for about an hour of his time! Josh and I are thinking of signing up too.

Riding in a car with boys

That's a movie title isn't it? Watch this funny video and tell me if you think Paxton was a little bored in the car!
