Got a house!

It's the one listed listed in the post below!!! They took our second offer so the fiasco of offer/counter-offer is finally over.

We had the inspection on the new house Friday which went very well. (Just a broken window that needs to be replaced.) Our inspection on our house was Saturday and all we've heard so far is that it went well. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Started packing last night. The next two weekends for us are tournament weekends so I've got to do things when I have the time.

It wasn't meant to be.

The first house I talked about below didn't work out. We put in two different offers and he turned both of them down, really being firm about the price. It's probably a good thing though because we walked through it again yesterday and I'm not sure if the lighting was different or what but I noticed the extremely poor paint job throughout a good portion of it.

So, here's my second choice. Our offer went in last night so we'll see what happens today! Let me know what you guys think!

Yep, that's right. We put our house on the market Thursday evening, had our first showing Friday morning, got our first offer, we waited until Saturday and countered their offer which they accecpted Saturday afternoon.

OUR HOUSE SOLD IN 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!

I haven't even looked at other houses yet because I thought it would take months to sell a 2 bedroom home in this market and economy.

Anyone willing to help us move please let me know! We close March 19th, yep - March 19th. Not sure if we will be able to find something by then or we'll be living in a hotel. It's all really crazy to me right now that I can't seem to wrap my head around any of it.

5th grade music program

Tristan had his music program last night! It was a Stomp performance - really cool. Thought I had a perfect line of sight for this video (he's in the solid red shirt) until Tyler moved in front of T. Bummer, but you get the idea.

Aidan's party!

Aidan had his sleepover Saturday to celebrate the big 10! Here's the group:

Wild and crazy indeed! For the most part though, it went very well. Had some trouble with Aidan's behavior and attitude (for some reason he thought he was entitled to be treated like a king) but I think our guests had a blast.

Different theme than you would have thought huh? Aidan chose this right away and we didn't see another one he liked better. He loves the beach and this reminds him of it!

Made the crazies go to bed at 1:30 a.m. They slept until 8:30. Thank you God! We had a busy day with indoor soccer, I wasn't sure if I would make it through the superbowl (think there was a bet going on with my friends) but I did and then hit the sack right after.

He's 10!!

All mothers will be able to relate to me when I say this, "they grow up way too fast!"

I can't believe my baby is 10! He's a rotten little 10 year old too. You can almost see it in his devilish grin here.

In the pic he's having his birthday muffin before school. (Yes, he asked to skip school of course.) He took a huge bowl of mixed fruit to school to celebrate his day with his classmates and then it looks as if we are headed to Golden Corral for dinner tonight. (Happens to be his favorite.)
