Here's Aidan in action! This was their first game of the day. We had to face the best team in the state, the Strikers. (They are in the blue and yellow.) We played great but lost 4-3.
Tristan in action!
Tristan resting under a friend's canopy between games. Our day started pretty cool (I had a jacket on) but it finished up warm.
Aidan and Tanner. She led his cheering group during their games. The girls actually carried Aidan off of the field after one of his games. Notice the brand new ball in this picture - we couldn't find it at the end of the day. Not sure if someone took it by mistake or on purpose. Whatever, it stinks though.
So the boys ended up facing the Strikers (#1 team in the state) in the final. We lost but the boys left it all on the field, they had nothing else to give. We can't wait to face them again during the season!

Even though they lost, they must have done good to finish 3-4 playing the best team.
Yeah Tristan & Aidan! 4-3 is not too shabby! Good for them! Just wait till they strike those Strikers back! :)
They did do really well. Too bad they can't see it that way right now. Comes with age I guess.
We've got another tournament on the 12th here in town so our chance at a rematch could be then!
