No one knows me...

Aidan came home from school on Friday after his field trip and told me that I needed to go to the next field trip that he has. I asked him, "Why?" and his response was, "No one knows who you are!!" I laughed so hard! Sad huh?

Come to find out he has been chosen to escort our mayor through his school next Wednesday. I'm going to go and take pictures of them. I have no idea why the mayor is coming or why Aidan was chosen for this but he's got an awesome teacher and I'm sure it's something she's put together.

No rechargeable batteries this time~!

Too funny! I notice at Alyssa's school, all the kids say "Hello Alyssa's mom" when they see me. But that's daycare and I have to go upstairs and get her.

How sweet of you to say that Cat!

Since I don't see the boys in the morning (I'm at work before they wake up) and they walk home from school in the afternoons, he's right! No one see me. They are now making jokes that people think they don't have a mom.

Love ya!

Awe...I would totally want to be there more also...Take some pics b/c that is super cool!

--I will be in the same situation with my girls as I will be at work when they wake up. I am already scared that they will be the dirty kids at school with messy clothes and unbrushed hair/teeth. (Don't tell Jon). Ha Ha!

Haaaa! They won't be. I'm shocked at some of the kids that I see. They are dirty with mismatched clothes and what not. I'll fess up to something else also - I still pick out the boys clothes the night before to avoid problems there. I'm a control freak!!! I'm going to try to let them pick out their own clothes this summer and see how they do.

I have learned that as long as I buy cute clothes, we are safe no matter what Caeli picks out. Although her socks rarely match, I can live with it. (only b/c of her age and I just try to think "Punky Brewster". Ha!

Oh cute - you'll get great pictures! (That picture of your boys on the side bar is too adorable. They are gorgeous kids.)

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Right there with you Shelly. Alyssa's socks hardly ever match. She does pretty good with her clothes though but sometimes Preston tells her something matches when it really doesn't look right.

I have to agree with Steph on that last one b/c Jon always gets Caeli to wear this hot pink shirt with army green pants and I think it totally doesn't match, but he does. Ha Ha!
